Here’s a little more “straight talk”.
The GOP isn’t that stupid. Close, but not that stupid. Ever stop and think they wanted to lose this one?
We’ve got a nation convinced GWB is the most evil man since Schiklegruber, with an economy going down like the Hindenburg, and two wars going on.
I wouldn’t want the job. It’s an up hill climb all the way, and there’s nothing but hard choices to be made. Anyone who makes them will look evil, and I think the Republican party thought they could look like salvation in 1012.
Trouble is, the guy they bowed out for won’t make those choices. Hang on, folks, it’s gonna be a bumpy ride.
He lost. Go figure.
